Angelina Miller

Aquatic ecotoxicologist, PhD student

I am a PhD student and conducting my research within the Excellence Cluster “The Fuel Science Center”. My background is in aquatic ecotoxicology, and I have expanded this expertise by focusing on the neurotoxic effects of environmental toxicants. In particular, I assess the neurotoxic potential of fuel blends using New Approach Methods (NAMs), such as zebrafish larvae assays. At the eTOX lab, I will use OMICS approaches to further elucidatethe molecular mechanisms underlying neurotoxic effects.
